The Thompson Covered Bridge, originally constructed in 1832 by Zadoc Taft. Reconstructed in 1993 and dedicated on August 14, 1993 with the cooperation of the citizens of Swanzey

"I drove up to Swanzey, NH, where my ancestors stayed for a time. There are covered bridges in that area, and one, a really nice example, is called the "Thompson Bridge" for Denman Thompson."
