This was the way the Lord directed His people formerly, and it is still good advice, proper for God's people to follow. This church has now traveled a road of 25 years. She has now paused to look back on the road partly to thank the Lord for His grace in leading the way, celebrate over His righteous- ness and mercy, take wisdom from the past, which may be of use in the future; partly to catch new powers to be able to continue the tiresome desert travel toward Canaan.
